Coronavirus effects CHSAA sports

All spring sports are suspended until April 6, including practice
There can only be student-led practices
Baseball can’t practice on the main field
Soccer can’t practice on any school property
If someone is injured during a student-led practice, CHSAA is not held responsible
All music festivals are canceled
State basketball tournament is canceled
State speech tournament is suspended
State Knowledge Bowl is canceled
Situation will be monitored and evaluated with decision-makers from around the state to determine when or if the spring season is resumed.
No school facility will be used for events that aren’t school sponsored
Other high school associations such as Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, California, and Kentucky have made similar announcements
