Andrew Priestley, Drum Major of Delta High School, has been working his way up to this position all his years of high school. Xavier Martinez’s season of football isn’t done quite yet. The team has made it quite far, even winning a State Championship. Martinez wants to make sure he plays his best because he unfortunately won’t be able to play in college because he is “Too short. Morgan Farmer hopes to do the same thing that she did last year: win state in Speech and Debate. Last year, her Poetry performance won her first place in Poetry and helped win Delta High School state overall. “…our school is going to miss us quite a bit and they have a little bit of disruption of skill,” said Farmer. This year’s speech and debate team is held up by the seniors.
Derek Boyd enjoyed his last year playing golf after he played all four years. He enjoyed all the years he got to play and can’t wait to see what is in store for him in college. “I think I had a lot of good days and bad days,” said Boyd.
