Students anxiously wait for the Panthers to compete against Basalt for the Homecoming game.

Sophomore, Layne Sanchez said when he plays he wants to give it his all and never give up. Sanchez explained he doesn’t feel intimidated by the other football team. Questions linger in the air for people, wondering if they had pressure holding a state win.
¨We do have a lot of pressure from winning state last year. People compare us to the team we were last year, but we are not the same, we are newer, and a younger team. Still good, just different,” Huerta said.
Coach Jesse Kendig explained his team is ready and they have worked hard and know the components from the past and are not intimidated by the other team.
