The crowd at graduation goes wild as class of 2025 valedictorian Brianna Huff falls into a crowd of her classmates at the end of her valedictorian speech. This is one of the unexpected things that happened at graduation. There was also confetti, blow horns, and signs.
The seniors officially graduated on May 18, 2025. This ceremony featured all the typical graduation activities: speeches, walking across the stage, and what the graduates intend to pursue.
The valedictorian, Huff, gave a speech on what the future holds for the seniors. Huff received multiple scholarships to attend Fort Lewis College. She will graduate from FLC in 2029.
Huff had lots of accomplishments in her high school career. She was the student body president and Interact president, was a part of the runner-up state basketball team, and was involved in NHS, cross country, and numerous other activities within the school.
The senior class salutatorian, Tyler Yost, had a GPA of 4.55, which secured his spot as salutatorian. Yost was involved in numerous clubs and sports as well. He was involved in golf, the NHS, the Student Council, basketball, the Interact club, and many other clubs. Yost intends to go to Brigham Young University.
Other accomplishments were recognized as well. DHS had three exchange students this year: Anna Caudal Pipard, Adrianna Lobo, and Bruno Sosa. Pipard, Lobo, and Sosa all got to walk the stage at graduation. All of these students intend to continue their education in their home countries, and all would like to come back to the United States in the future.
All of the graduates accomplished many things, from getting their diplomas to deciding what they want to do in the future. DHS had many people going to college, continuing their education, going into the workforce, and even many going to serve our country.
