The Delta Panthers baseball team is having an outstanding season this year. The team has made the regional playoffs and is currently 7th in Colorado.
The team leaves this Thursday, May 22.
Pacey Smith is a young varsity player who hopes to perform well. “We are doing pretty good in the season so far. We play Coal Ridge next,” Smith said.
Alex Mack has been on the varsity team for two years now and is eager to go to State and win. “ We are ranked 7th out of 8 teams,” said Mack. “It feels good being on varsity. There is really good chemistry in the team, and I’m there for moral support, I guess,” said Mack. “The matchup is against the number two team,” said Mack.
