“Well, since I’m Catholic, my family and I would go to church. After that, we would have a big family dinner.” (Maxton Luna)“We like to hand-make Christmas ornaments and we then share them with our family members.” (Maxton Luna)“My cousins like to burn out with their cars because my mom accidentally did a burnout with her car one Thanksgiving, and my grandma got angry at her. My cousins thought it was hilarious, so they started to copy her and would burn out every Thanksgiving with their cars.” (Maxton Luna)“We don’t eat turkey, but we eat pozole. Pozole is a stew with hominy, which is like a type of corn, and meat, and we usually have that with tamales on the side. Also, if my sister were to visit, she would bring French bread.” (Maxton Luna)“We would make a lot of food, then afterwards we would go watch football. Whenever our team loses, we would yell ‘turkeys!’ at them. When I used to live in Texas, my parents randomly yelled ‘turkeys’ at our team on Thanksgiving.” (Maxton Luna) “We don’t do anything unusual, but we would put football on the television for background noise, but occasionally I would get distracted. Also, if there are still leftovers, we would eat pie in the morning.” (Maxton Luna)“I usually celebrate Thanksgiving with my girlfriend and her grandparents. When my girlfriend and her grandma cook dinner, her grandpa and I would go work on cars.” (Ethan Luna)“So, I have a lot of family members, and since we have so many, we like to play this game. We take three of the youngest family members and have them be ‘turkeys’. We then have the rest of the family members be the ‘hunters’ and have them go chase the turkeys. If a hunter catches a turkey, they bring them back to their ‘hut’ to then ‘cook them’, which then turns the turkeys into hunters.” (Maxton Luna)
