Under the lights: movement continues at Delta High School

As we continue through these hard times, we are thankful to be part of a supportive and positive community. This is a challenging time for families, students, teachers, businesses, and many more. Starting Friday April 10, from 8 – 9 pm, the lights at Panther Stadium will be turned on.

The #BeTheLight Colorado Movement started Monday night and continues to spread inspiring schools across Colorado to join the trend. The movement is to spread hope, faith, and love as a statewide effort for everybody in Colorado.

“I think the Be the Light Movement is great! It’s a wonderful way to bring the community together and remember the good times and know that they will be back soon,” said Derek Carlson, Principal Delta High School.

Remember we will all get through this together. Look forward to drive by honk, scream, do whatever you’ll like. Just have a great time even if we can’t fill the stadium. Memories like these will forever live in our hearts. Stay home and stay safe. We can all get through this together.
