Starting out with a blank canvas, artists are able to create anything they want to. They’re able to envision a piece of work they want to make. (Anika Hovel)Mixing colors is the next component when you are making art with paint. “You have to be careful about adding tones like black or white, because you can’t really go back after making a certain shade of a color,” said Tara Hovel. After that, you put the string on the canvas in an S sort of way. Once it’s positioned, you pull down and away from the canvas.
