Cerebral Palsy Day. On March 25, 2022 people who support CP day will wear green for the kids who have Cerebral Palsy. We wear green to represent good luck. The question is what is Cerebral Palsy?   Well, asking around Delta High School, students don’t really know what it is, and little did they know that we have kids in DHS that have Cerebral Palsy. According to the Center For Disease Control, Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of disorders that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture.

CP is the most common motor disability in childhood. Cerebral means having to do with the brain. Palsy means weakness or problems with using the muscles. CP is caused by abnormal brain development or damage to the developing brain that affects a person’s ability to control his or her muscles.

You should wear green to support people that have CP. “Many people with CP feel alone. We wear green to support 17 million people. To let everyone know that you just don’t wear green for St. Patrick’s Day.
