Delta High Schoolers perform first concert of the school year

DHS choir students performed on October 29, 2019 at the Delta Family Center at 7 pm. As a first year choir director, Mr.Leffler lead concert choir, women’s choir, and show choir throughout the evening.

“It was was pretty good. Women’s choir was pretty loud. Women’s choir should work on note accuracy. Show choir was pretty good show choir should work on memorizing parts,” said Kaleigh Zavala, soloist for women’s choir.

“I really loved the concert. The students did really awesome. They really represented DHS.All the music was smooth- no goof ups. Show choir did great with their choreography. They need to work on harmony. Women’s choir did a great job presenting the story and they need to work on attributes to make us sound more mature. Concert choir: I was very pleased that they followed me.They need to work on confidence,̈said Leffler. Leffler is the choir director for DMS as well as DHS. Leffler does have future goals for the choir: “Going forward, all the ensembles can work on holding onto their own parts and becoming more independent singers,” said Leffler.
